Bird City Library: Check Out Cards
Yep, they still use the cards to record checkouts. My Mom went looking to see if there were any cards that still had her name on them, but didn’t find any (a good sign, IMO, it means the stuff is circulating reasonably frequently).
And yes, the names have been fuzzed to protect the innocent.

This is the same technology we use in my Law Firm Library. For the tiny population, it works great. Unfortunately these Harvard graduates can't seem to remeber to pull the cards out of the books!
