British Library: King's Library

The personal library of King George III (yes, *that* King George III). It was willed to the British Library on the condition that the books would be kept separate from the rest of the library’s collection.

So the library is now stored seprately in this rather handsome glass building within a building at the British Library. The books can be accessed (and can be viewed by British Library Readers). There’s some sort of a hallway system behind the books, and the shelves can slide back. Really quite a cool set up.
