Autumn Stars Placemats
This was my second quilting project. It turned out to be overly ambitious of me - I made 12 of these, and even though the book said it was a beginner project, it wasn't. Many, many hundreds of tiny, fiddly, pieces which turned into huge, lumpy seams (which I then ironed the wrong way). Arrgh! Despite all that, they didn't turn out too badly, considering. And I did finish the project, which I'm proud of.
